Based on the TV series of the same name by Richard Curtis and Paul Mayhew-Archer, and adapted for stage by Ian Gower and Paul Carpenter, The Vicar of Dibley is a humorous adaptation of the BBC sitcom of the same name. The show is about a female vicar, Geraldine, who is assigned to a small English village and how the community receives her. The story is based on the first two series of the TV show, which aired from 1994 to 1998, and includes some of the best episodes.
